NYCN Holds 'Meet Your Candidate' Programme In Ijebu North State Constituency I

It was a great success for the National Youth Council of Nigeria,Ijebu North Chapter,having organised a violence free debate among the HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY candidates of different political parties in Ijebu North Constituency 1.

The event which has in attendance seven(7) candidates from different political parties- Azeez Adegbenga(YES), Shittu Adedayo Michael(ANN), Adeleye Joseph Ademola(APC), Adekoya Akeem(ADP), Adekambi Adegoke(APM), Sylvester Abiodun Adeniyi(PDP), Taiwo Abass(ADC).

 It was a fun filled event as the House of Assembly hopefuls were presented the opportunity to roll out their manifesto to the audience present. Among the dignitaries present for the programme  were; the former Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House Of Assembly, Hon. Olatokunbo Oshin(2003-2011), the Ogun State gubernatorial candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN); Mr Ogunbanjo Ademola, the governorship candidate of Young Peoples Party (YPP); Mr Babasola Ogunwa, some party chairmen including Hon Bolaji Odusanya, Mr Dairo, former NYCN coordinator in Ijebu North among others. We have One hundred and seven audience that graced the occasion.

However,it was an avenue for the candidates to put forward to the electorates present which were drawn across all sectors in community ranging from traditional rulers,religious leaders,heads of voluntary organisations,heads of artisans among others, their plans and programmes

More so,the electorates had the opportunity to field some questions to the candidates, which they were able to do justice to some of the questions certifiably.

Security agencies present at the events are representatives of the Directorate of State Service(DSS),the Nigeria Police Force,Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC),Vigilante Group of Nigeria(VGN).
