Again, Shote Applauds Ogun PDP For Successful National Delegates' Congress
House of Representatives hopeful for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has applauded the Engr. Adebayo Dayo-led Ogun State PDP Executive for organising a successful national delegates' congress in the state.
The Ogun State chapter of the party today joined other chapters of the party across the country to hold the national delegates' congress.
According to a release from his media office, the Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court said by organising a rancour-free national delegates congress in the 20 local government areas in the state, the party has demonstrated the much-needed political, administrative and managerial prowess required to put the party back to winning ways.
Shote said the peaceful conduct of the congress has shown PDP as a party that is ready to reclaim Ogun State and Nigeria from the hands of the pretenders in the 2019 general election
Shote said the exercise was free, fair and peaceful, adding that, "There has been no imposition of any sort. Delegates and other stakeholders freely chose their national delegates in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
“So far, the ward and LG congresses have been successful. There has not been any case of violence as everyone is committed to ensuring the party is re-invigorated for the task ahead. I congratulate the newly-elected national delegates on their emergence. We are on the right track and if we continue like this victory is sure in 2019."
Shote also praised all the statutory agencies, such as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Police, the Department of State Security (DSS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for their professional conduct.
