SAGAMU LOCAL GOVERNMENT PDP WELCOMES NEW ASPIRANTS
The Peoples Democratic Party Secretariat in Sagamu local government was filled to its brim today as the Party birthed two new aspirants seeking to represent Sagamu State Constituency I and II respectively.
While unveiling the two aspirants known as; Hon Babalola Adesanya (Shine) and Yeyeluwa Sonubi Kehinde Ogunremi today, PDP Chairman in Sagamu Local Government; Otunba Kola Akinyemi (Tonight) said the two aspirants have done the needful by following the procedures laid down by the Party Executives in the local government for all aspirants. He further advised followers to do away from causing unnecessary enmity among the aspirants. He reiterated that what is paramount at the moment is working for the Party's victory, noting that this will serve as a huge benefit for all.
Prince Babalola Adesanya (Shine) explained that he found the Peoples Democratic Party as the only platform viable for him to nurse his ambition. He promised to take Sagamu State Constituency II to enviable heights if given the mandate. On the other hand; Yeyeluwa Sonubi Ogunremi urged the people to give women a chance, stating that she's capable of transforming the misfortunes of Offin to fortunes.
Part of her speech reads, "My people in Sagamu, it's time for sincere representation in Ogun State politics. It is time to usher in massive youth and women empowerment. I shall create a forum for youths to air their views concerning community and society developments by holding monthly Town hall meetings with Constituents. I will also ignite a quarterly phone-in opportunity for two hours on weekly basis. I seek your support and vote to make this dream a reality. Orisagamu Ewa agbe wa o, ase".
Four cartons of noodles were donated to each ward by the aspirants while fifty packs of food were distributed to each of the wards by the Party Chairman; Otunba Kola Akinyemi
