Speaking to newsmen at the Party Secretariat in Abeokuta after picking the form, Asiwaju Ayorinde said he is on a restoration mission to give the people of Offin the much desired dividends of democracy that has eluded them since the opposition Party took over affairs of the Constituency.
Hon Fabregas as he is fondly called by friends and political associates said he will initial various empowerment programmes for the the youths and make legislations that will better the lives of his people generally if given the mandate.
When asked what his reactions would be towards the outcome of the Primary Election. He said, "Election is not war and just like our former President; Goodluck Jonathan stated; no political ambition should worth the blood of a fellow Nigerian. I am obviously not the only one in this race. We have others who are capable and qualified too but this is a race and there must be a winner. I know it will be keenly contested but I am optimistic of emerging victorious. However, I am not nursing a do or die ambition, so whatever the outcome is, I will abide by it".
Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde is seeking to represent Sagamu State Constituency I at the State's hallowed chamber and has been tipped by many to earn the Party's ticket based on his popularity and activities within and outside the Party in the past few years.
