2019 : APC LOSES FOOTSOLDIERS TO PDP IN ADO ODO/OTA LOCAL GOVERNMENT*

   The All Progressive Congress has been hit by massive defection in Ogun State as hundreds of its members loyal to Sen Solomon Adeola YAYI dumped the APC for the Peoples Democratic Party yesterday.

   High Chief Benjamin Adekunle who led the defectors identified the philanthropic gestures of Sen. Buruji Kashamu to the betterment of people in Ogun State was the principal reason he encouraged his people to shift their base. Furthermore,  he vowed to join hands with leaders in the local government so as to ensure victory for PDP in the forthcoming election.

   The Governorship hopeful from Ogun West;  Alh Wole Adeyanju thanked the defectors for choosing Peoples Democratic Party. He noted that PDP remains the odyssey to good governance which centres on people's welfare. He assured that if entrusted with their mandate, he would not disappoint them.

  While receiving the decampees, Peoples Democratic Chairman in Ogun State; Engr Adebayo Dayo congratulated them for making the right decision.  He assured them of equal right with other members of the Party as there will be no preferential treatment. Finally,  the Ogun PDP Boss urged leaders and members of the Party in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government to embrace the new members and work in unity to achieve the common goal of earning victory for the Party next year.

Wole Adeyanju (PDP Governorship Aspirant), Monsuru Oloyede (ado Odo/Ota Local Govt Chairman), Alh. Dawodu, Alh. Adejumo, Asiwaju 'Leye Odunjo (Senate Aspirant, Ogun West District), Alh. Adisa Alapoti, Hon. Kunle Akinsowon, Comrade Segun Arewa, Chief Tope Aina Ijakoko( Chairman, Yewa South) and a host of others.
