OGUN EAST PDP WOMEN BACK SOSANWO FOR SENATE

Women, known to be loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the nine local government areas of Ogun East Senatorial District have promised to vigorously work for the victory of the party's Senatorial candidate in the zone, Engr. Adeola Sosanwo popularly known as SAS.

Addressing newsmen at the weekend in Ijebu Ode, the Ogun East PDP Woman Leader; Alhaja Akibu Oriyomi a.k.a Irorunola explained that the choice of Engr. Sosanwo as the Party's Candidate is indeed a good one. 

"Firstly, I will like to thank our leader; Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu, leaders and elders of our party in the zone for putting the round peg in a round hole. 

I also want to congratulate our incoming Senator; Engr. Sosanwo. This is a reward for his steadfastness, commitment and laudable activities in the Party since he expressed his interest to participate in the forthcoming election.

The nine local government woman leaders in Ogun East have thrown their weights behind him and promised to put all machineries in place, to ensure his victory.  This decision is borne out of complete assurance that he will deliver outstandingly if voted in," Alhaja Oriyomi said.

It would be recalled that Engr. Sosanwo, who emerged as the House of Representatives Candidate in Remo Federal Constituency in a keenly contested primary election against Otunba Fatai Sowemimo  has been officially announced by the Engr. Adebayo- led Exco as the Senatorial Candidate for the Party  in Ogun East Senatorial District.
