OGHA 2019 : Let's Enjoy The Real Benefits Of Transparent And Effective Representation
Several times, I have thought deeply on what precisely defines true representation. It is an obvious fact that representation goes beyond making fictitious promises and giving the innocent constituents unachievable agenda. Representation is a continuous process and the best a man can do is to outline his aims and get them executed. Globally, it is agreed that a mission without vision is an illusion.
*Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde* is a man of few words but many actions. He is stocked with developmental programmes and projects which in no time, *would offer Offin an enviable progress.* This programmes cut across the educational, farming, sports and health sectors. Today, our children either graduates from school and unable to get job or complete a vocational training without equipments to work independently. Some of our mothers and fathers can not afford three square meal without thronging the streets to beg for alms. Many of them have children who are graduates but have not job. These are the results of poor representation/governance. Shall we continue this way ?
A lawmaker, house of assembly member especially, should be one who's very close to the people at the grassroot level, one who has a listening ear and caring heart, one who knows exactly the needs and wants of his people. Apart from initiating bills that will positively affect the lives of his constituents, there should be set aside programmes which returns the dividends of democracy to those who gave you their mandates.
Today, we have a fresh air in Offin as a young man who is able,capable,dependable, reliable and commendable has offered himself to usher in the desired change. True representation is at our fingertips for real if we massively support and vote for Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde (Fabregas) to represent Sagamu State Constituency I at the State's hallowed chamber.
