OOU STUDENTS AWARD HON FABREGAS

The Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS) in Olabisi Onabanjo University, held a symposium on the 28th of May 2018 and at the event, 2019 house of assembly hopeful in Sagamu Local Government; Hon Ayorinde Babatunde was presented an *Award of Appreciation* for his immeasurable support and contribution towards the success of the Symposium. Notable personalities at the event include; Mr Segun Odegbami (Ex Super Eagles Footballer), Comrade Segun Okeowo, and Comrade Shofoyeke Adeniyi. In his address, the National President of the Association, Comrade Akanbi Oluwaseyi Samuel described Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde as a man of his words. "I am full of thanks for everyone present here today. We have special people amidst us and this shows how humble they are. This Award is to express our sincere gratitude to Hon Fabregas for his moral and financial support towards the realization of today's dream. The very first time we visited him to seek his support, he promised to assist us in the little way he could but what seems little to him, looks very big to us. We can not thank him enough but with this, I believe he will know the level of esteem at which the Association holds him. Thank you so much Sir", Akanbi said. The award was presented to Asiwaju Ayorinde by the veteran footballer; Mr Segun Odegbami. While presenting it, he said "I am asked to present this award of appreciation to you; Hon Babatunde Ayorinde, in appreciation of your support towards the success of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students' Symposium. I am happy that a young man like you is going round to make noticeable impacts. Almighty God will bless you as you continue to do so. Congratulations". Asiwaju Ayorinde thanked the students for counting him worthy of such honour and promised to always be of help to them when the need arises.
